Pincher Creek is a community of over 3,600 people, located east of the Rocky Mountains in the ranching country of southwest of Alberta, Canada. Situated just 50 km (31 mi) north of Waterton Lakes National Park, Pincher Creek is a popular tourist and recreational area.
The Castle Mountain Ski Resort is 30 minutes west of Pincher Creek. An hour to the east is Lethbridge. Calgary is two hours to the north. Pincher Creek is a four-hour drive from the Saskatchewan border, and a 45-minute drive from the British Columbia border. And, with the Alberta Montana border just a short distance ot the south, the drive to the United States is shorter than a lot of other routes.
